My original tour of the Steam Whistle brewery is what set off my love affair with their beer.
In doing the tour, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic about their brand and their beer (genuine enthusiasm that can only come from people who really love their company). Learned a lot about their beer, the roundhouse and beer making in general.
When the tour ended, the guys up at the bar just kept giving us beer without charging us (we had used our "tour tickets"). I wanted to pay extra to upgrade my tasting souvenir glass with a pint sized one, and they did it (without actually charging me). The people of steam whistle seemed to be more concerned with our enjoyment than their cash register, which ultimately worked out in their favour as I have pretty much exclusively drank their beer since then.
Not only a highly recommended tour, but a highly recommended brand.
