I will take blame for just searching "barbershop" on yelp and assuming that whatever came up would truly be a barbershop.
There's a lot to like about this place: they're very friendly, accommodating, nice environment, they have a great monthly deal on haircuts. However, just be aware that this might not be a true barbershop (aka I don't think the girl who cut my hair has gotten that certification). I could tell by the technique she used, unfortunately I was so wrapped up in our wonderful conversation that I wasn't really paying attention to the final product.
This place gets 3 stars. It's not bad by any means at all, but you can certainly find a better gentleman's haircut for the same price point ($19 + tip). That's all I'm saying, in the most objective way that I can.
