| - Visiting from New York we wanted something 'authentic' to Arizona while walking around Old Town Scottsdale and this place seemed to fit the bill. I ordered the Fajita Bowl. On 'paper' it didn't seem like anything amazing - rice, beans, citrus marinade grilled veggies and guacamole on top - but it was vegetarian and seemed filling so I went for it. This is an example of where a humble meal, prepared well, ends up besting something else that's got a sexier name or more exotic ingredients. It was perfectly seasoned, with just enough 'heat', everything tasted fresh, the rice and black beans were soft, the grilled veggies REALLY did have a marvelous citrusy lemon-lime flavor and the guac provided a lovely counterbalance to the heat of the dish. Healthy, tasty, with a texture that was both chewy and soft. Perfect and at $7, it seemed like the best deal in town. You can order it with some protein on top for a bit more too. The services was friendly and atmosphere very SouthWestern. If I was local, this would become a regular thing.
