  • I have used vca castle Shannon a handful of times and have been pleased with each visit. Unfortunately I had to make the decision to euthanize my best friend and cat Gizmo recently. The staff was very kind and sympathetic to my husband and I. We saw dr. Yuh in march for the same issues and he prepared us for this day. He was so honest yet compassionate and truly cared for my cats best interest. I would absolutely see him again. He gave us some medications to try and see if we could turn things around, and we gained 3 more wonderful months of happy life with giz. On the day of Gizmo's release, dr. Bolujoko was great in talking us through everything and discussing options even though we had known we made up our mind. He was gentle and caring during the process. We miss gizmo so very much, but we are thankful for the staff at vca for taking the pain away from our boy. I thought prices were reasonable even when I have used the emergency services. The only negative remark I have is that when the techs brought him in after he got his iv, they kind of set him on the table while he was scared and rushed out. I scooped him up and he was okay.
