So far so bad... I switched from Comcast to Verizon because Comcast's prices were insane. However, I don't even have my Verizon service installed yet and I hate it. They scheduled an install appointment with me between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. today. I took off 1/2 day of work because that's all they told me I'd need for the install to happen. 12 p.m. rolls around and no one has come. I call and the person on the phone is very nice and reaches out to my tech. Tech says I'm next on the list so I sit tight. 2 more hours roll around... It's now 2 p.m. and I've had to miss a full day of work to sit around and wait for people that are running late. I call again and speak with another rep on the phone who again reaches out to my tech. Tech says "she's next on the list". I informed them that he told me that 2 hours ago and is still not here. Asked for a time estimate and was told 3 p.m. It's now 5 p.m. and I have yet to receive a call or a visit from any sort of tech. I've now missed a full days work and had to cancel my 4 p.m. dentist appointment. This is NOT a very good first impression. I was offered HBO free for a year as a compensation, but I don't watch HBO, so it's of no value to me. I do not feel I should have to pay $80 for this visit. I would have appreciated a phone call to let me know the tech was running behind schedule. I work 5 min from my house and could have gone into work until they called to tell me they were on their way. Hopefully they come soon... This is no fun.
