This restaurant is one of my favorites and had been for years. The food is consistently excellent, the wait staff friendly but not intrusive, and the ambiance casual and intimate. It's no wonder everyday they are packed for lunch and you have to arrive by 11:45 (at the latest) to secure a table. I have so many favorites that I never branch out beyond them anymore. Their blackened chicken salad is a Monday special but you can request it any day even though it's not on the menu. Try it with the Parmesan peppercorn dressing. My husband loves their quiche (yes, real men eat quiche) and the turkey clubs. We always start with a cup of tomato bisque soup which is phenomenal. They may have the best hamburger in town but I think this place offers the best of everything.
I also enjoy walking by their bar and seeing individuals eating by themselves. It's the kind of place you don't remain a stranger for long.
