My wife and I went to Le Mont for our one year anniversary, being transplants to Pittsburgh and having been informed that this was the most romantic spot in town. The view of the city is delicious, but the view inside is extremely dated. The big, ornate chandeliers and trim on the walls would be fine if it were current, but the place seems a couple decades past it's prime. The service was excellent (very friendly, not pretentious), and the food was pretty good, although very overpriced in the general scheme of things. The maitre'd was quite rude when we intentionally showed up early, and told him we were there but would be taking a pre-dinner cocktail in the bar. His motivations are still unknown to us. All in all, it is probably better to spend this kind of scratch elsewhere.
