  • Good atmosphere, but that's all it is. Won't go there again. Service is okay, I ended up having to serve myself because our waitress was too busy. It's not her fault though, I think they are just understaffed when I was visiting. The manager also failed to get back to us at the oyster pricing, then again, it's not a big deal. I wouldn't eat oyster around this area anyway. If you are looking for decent oysters in Peoria/Glendale area (not good, just decent), then Angry Crab at Cactus is your next choice...but that place is always packed and oyster prep. can be questionable sometimes too. Sushi and sashimi aren't great. Horrible cut, but decent quality & freshness. Fresh wasabi will cost $2 here at Yellowtail, meaning I would rather go to Osaka Japanese Steak House (5 minutes from here) than go to Yellowtail Sushi & Steak. Osaka won't charge you for fresh wasabi. For this reason, Yellowtail got dropped to 1-star since I gave Osaka 2-star. But if you are willing to drive further, then Kabuki will be the right fit (if you like this kind of food). Same price range, but better food.
