  • I was hopeful when I found this place on yelp. My bf and I had a sudden craving for sweets and couldn't decide between ice cream or boba. This place had both with lots of options for flavors and desserts. We walked in with many others at the same time. This little place was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie sandwich with white chocolate macadamia nut ice cream($3.5) and a taro and almond milk tea($4ea). We received it fairly quickly but left a lot to be desired almost instantly. The ice cream was already soft and melted. It didn't even hold for one bite. The rest had to be eaten with a spoon and truthfully one scoop of ice cream is not enough for two decadent cookies. At the very least the cookies were soft and tasty. The two drinks at first sip were so bland. Not sweet in the least. The boba was perfectly soft and were the only source of sweetness but not enough to make it enjoyable. I took my drink home and added my own sweetener. Didn't want my bf's Sunday treat to go to waste. I just wonder if all the hype was because of the yelp promos and the younger crowd that seems to be drawn here. I think I may have had a better experience if I had just ordered ice cream, but even then i would only give it three stars. Sorry Scoop. Just not my cup of tea.
