I'm poor. I very rarely go out to eat but when I do I want it to be dirt cheap and super tasty. This place is perfect for me.
I got the Italian beef with the hot peppers, onions and provolone cheese. (Was a little disappointed that I had to add those things on for an extra charge but whatever, it was worth it.) My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger and fries.
First: That sandwich was HUGE and I ate the whole thing. The onions were perfectly cooked, the peppers were plentiful and spicy and the meat was so tasty. Only complaint would be that the au jus was too salty.
Second: I got two glorious bites of the bf's burger. I'm getting that next time.
Third: The fries are pretty generic crinkle cut ones but they fried them perfectly, salted them adequately and gave us some tasty fry sauce. No complaints.
I will definitely be going back here. The guy at the counter (who I assume was the owner) was very nice and personable and obviously takes pride in the food he serves. A+!
