  • I'm a sucker for most things to do with the Bell Lightbox, but I can honestly say that my 5 star rating has a lot more to do with just the fact that Malaparte sits atop one of my favourite Toronto buildings. It's a great venue with food catered from O&B. The food (h'orderves) we were served hit the right spots, the sliders were nice and juicy, mushroom tarts, pastries, chicken skewers and more all superbly done. I was lucky enough to attend an event when it was nice enough outside to check out their terrace and random huge staircase that you can go up for a better panoramic view. The terrace had it's own tent as well with a bar, everything you could ask for. The space inside is of a decent size big enough for a medium to slightly large group of people. It can potentially get crowded due to the need to walk through a narrow hallway to get to the main area but shouldn't make a big issue. And once inside the main area, half the room is bordered by a long window, so great lightings and views are to be had. Overall a great venue for a fancy event, very friendly staff that make great drinks! I assume it does cost above your average event venue, but definitely worth it!
