  • This place is great--the cooking is great tasting authentic southern style (I grew up in the deep South), the atmosphere is urban/modern--don't let the restaurant's mission fool you: they serve alcohol in an upbeat environment. Also, it was really affordable--to the point I almost felt guilty. If I stayed in uptown Charlotte all week, I would go here almost every day.
