| - Finally! Winco! I moved from Idaho and have been struggling to make my grocery shopping as easy as it use to be. Stores around here never seem to carry everything I need. Winco, on the other hand, carries almost everything I need. It's like the Costco of shopping, only you aren't forced to purchase in bulk.
The store is almost always stocked. I can go during the non-rush hours, so lines aren't a problem for me. Honestly though, with how many registers are open and the lines still being that long, it says something about how great the store is.
It clearly states - at the front of the store - in big letters - that credit cards are not accepted. They DO take debit cards. That's how I pay for everything. As for no shopping carts, that was only when it first opened. They have since bought a ton more and always have plenty available.
This store has items you can buy by the bulk (almonds, granola, mixes, etc.) that most stores won't sell. A small Asian and Mexican aisle so I can mix up my dinners every once in a while. And clean produce that I'm not afraid to pick up. I hope they grow and are able to build more stores, preferably one closer to where I live!
