  • ive been to this salon 2-3 times. the only one good experience i had was one when of the owners family members (i believe) did my hair, and she was super nice! we chatted the whole time which is something i dont do a lot when getting my hair done, but i felt comfortable with her the entire time. shes really sweet and gives nice compliments. thats why im giving her the 3 stars. I had to take off two stars though, because the second time i was making an appointment over the phone, they said it was going to be $15 to do so. I didnt have to pay that last time i got my hair done, but i thought since they were kinda new, maybe its just something they needed to do to make sure clients were gonna show up. So i agreed, even though it just seemed so random to do that. When i got there, i had at least 3 different girls doing my hair at random times, which to me was odd. i especially felt weird when one of these young girls who was braiding up my hair, randomly asked me, "do you ever still suck your thumb?" i was like...wtf no..? it was just kinda weird, but i just sat waiting for her to finish up. As, another girl came over, and was putting in my weave, i could see and hear her laughing with another girl about the hair that i brought in to have installed. it was really unprofessional and made me not want to stay there any longer. On top of that, one of the three girls that were doing my hair, said in the middle of the job, that i needed a trim,and that was going to be $15, and since i also had a lot of hair, there were going to charge me even MORE extra since i would need three packs of hair! so on top of what i thought i was paying ($50 weave!!), it was an extra 15 for appt., 15 to trim, and i think another $20-25 to put in the third bundle! now i dont mind paying to make sure my hair is going to get done right, but im the kinda of person that doesnt like surprises with my money! you cant upcharge me in the middle of the process because what if i only had enough for what i thought i was paying for? Gotta do better ladies, please. Ill keep looking elsewhere to get my hair done with professional women that know how to manage customers and their money right.
