Thursday night...is that the problem? This buffet needs serious upgrading. Cold and dry...meat, bread (what there was of it) sushi rice. Mashed potatoes wouldn't even come off the spoon they were so sticky.
The prime rib WAS moist and seasoned very well but the "for show only" turkey never gets carved....they sliced from a pressed white turkey roll. I asked for dark meat and they took a thigh out of the hot case...it was ok but the gravy was the consistency of paste. Salads were decent but too much raw onion in most of them....watermelon was not fresh. Salmon and two other fish dishes VERY dry.
Deserts were fair except the crepe...asked for the apricot with creme and almost broke a tooth on the hard, thick dried apricots...not fresh, not stewed...DRIED APRICOTS...what a shock to bite down on that.
The bread pudding and apple cobbler was very good and the sorbets/ice creams were also good. This buffet doesn't come close to the Bellagio. We would not return here and would not recommend. The music playing throughout is so loud you can not have an intimate conversation. It got two stars from us because of deserts and fast, friendly service.
