Nice enough suite for $140, used hotels.com for the discount price.
Love that this hotel does not have a casino on the ground floor. The quiet and calm ambience is a real asset in this town of fake glitzy excess.
Our room was the large corner suite (880+ square feet) on the 33rd floor. Floor to ceiling windows faced the Luxor pyramid looking towards the strip. The night view of all the lights was impressive.
Bed is comfortable. Linens feel luxurious. Bathroom is spacious enough for 2 adults to share without banging elbows. Complimentary toiletries are good quality.
Mini-bar contents are obscenely overpriced. How do you like that bottle of Fiji water, $9!, that sells for $1.49 at Safeway.
No premium channels on the TV. No music system other than the clock radio at the bedside.
Gym / fitness center is no additional cost, unless you realize that the $39 per day "resort fee" pays that. Spa prices also obscene.
Adjacency to Mandalay Bay puts dozens of eateries and gambling a short stroll away.
I would definitely stay here again.
