  • I loved the candle lab when I discovered it in Columbus, Ohio. I have been to the Pittsburgh location 3 times now and had the same disappointment. The service is great, however they must be using different oil from what they use in Columbus. The candles I had previously made would throw the scent so well! All 3 candles I've made in Pittsburgh you can barely smell even when smelling them directly under your nose and unlit. Very disappointing because I have bragged about how great these candles are and how they smell even better than a Yankee candle, only to take my friends and family there and turn out to be a liar. At first I thought it was the combination of scents I was using, but after 3 creations and $60+ wasted I'm left with 3 candles that burn, but barely have a scent to them at all.
