| - This place is amazing!! $39 for a 90 minute massage. Who can beat that? It is run by Chinese people and boy are they sweet. They speak in very hushed voices because people are trying to get their relaxation on and are extremely courteous. I went on Valentines day after getting a pedicure. You know how those nail salons charge $10/5 minutes, after getting a little taste of a foot massage at my nail salon, I just knew I needed more. I called about 2 minutes prior to showing up and they ushered me into my comfy chair. Everything is covered by soft towels so you feel a bit cleaner and then it begins.
My lady was Fiona and I love her. She was SO sweet!! Just because it's called "happy foot spa", don't be fooled. It is a FULL BODY MASSAGE. They start with your face (so ladies, don't wear make-up) and move to your scalp, neck, back, feet, and everything in between. I was always comfortable and left feeling amazing. They have stamp cards where if you get 9, you get a free 60 minute massage. I am so happy they are around the corner from my house and will definitely be visiting Fiona again. I agree with other reviewers that Little Caesars next door can be a bit noisy, and wish they would turn up the music. Perhaps I'll ask them in Chinese next time I'm in, which will certainly be on a bi-weekly basis.
Heads up, the atmosphere isn't as "great" as a real spa, but they did an okay job and the chairs are certainly nice enough. Plus, where can you get a 90 minute massage for $39? No where.
Also, wear bottoms that can be easily pulled up past your knees, or shorts. As for tops, the more skin on your back and shoulders, the better.
