Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Admittedly, it's my own fault for trying to open an account here again. My first time me was not enjoyable, but out of convenience of location, I figured I would try again. Boy, was that dumb. I am warning anyone looking to change banks or open a new account, save yourself the headache and avoid US Bank. The latest incident brilliantly describes what it is like "banking" with them. I opened the account 2 weeks ago. Before I even got my debit card in the mail or any account information, they returned my initial deposit and closed the account due to "inactivity". You can't make this stuff up. After calling customer service, they advised me I needed to go into the branch to resolve it. Another waste of time. After passing me to multiple people they tell me there is no way to reopen the account. Again, save yourself the headache and find a different bank.
