Sometimes you just need something saucy and cheesy. The baked ziti at Cafe Modena hit the spot with its fresh homemade chunky marinara sauce and melted ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. A giant bowl of it with garlic bread. It is just as good as it sounds. My husband was equally happy with his gyro sandwich and fries. We liked the thick Tzaziki sauce served with it. The lunch specials which are served until 4 p.m. are very reasonably priced, especially for the amount of food. We were the only ones there at the off peak hour of 3:00 and got excellent service. It's not fancy inside but comfortable. There is a little bit of a smoky smell from the bar next door but not enough to be off putting. We will probably be back if we are ever in the area and have a craving for some good Italian food.
