In a busy location at Yonge and Clark sits a cozy spot where bubble tea is what's on.
TVs are usually showing whatever local sports team is on or news, and the place tends to feel more like a pub at times than a tea place.
Seating in small rooms with individual tables for small and larger groups fill quickly, food is OK (occasionally just defrosted, poorly) but not what one comes for. Service is attentive and fast. Opens after lunch time, so no good for an earlier sugar...er, tea craving.
Most tea flavourings are syrup-based and can be overly sweet. At around $4-5 per, one can hope to expect more than sugar, tea and ice in a glass with tapioca/jelly, but that's what is to be expected.
