| - I am going into this review letting you know I am already biased. It's high-class dining, which means--as a vegetarian--there are never many options. So I can not fairly rate them on all their food. But for vegetarians out there: this review is for you.
It's a fine dining facility in the floor of a hotel. So the atmosphere is relaxed (even though it tries to be fancy). You can never be fully "fancy" when you have people walking around in the lobby in front wearing jammies and fluffy slippers. It does a good job playing the part of fancy though.
The drink menu is great, good quality drinks. Well made, and local wines. The wine sampler is a great touch.
The menu is very unique, and like any upscale dining facility, expensive. But you get what you pay for. Very unique, quality ingredients, made from local ingredients.
With all the positive, why onlu give it 3 stars? Well, like I said, this is based on the quality of the food as a vegetarian. I had their deviled eggs, which were only ok. Nothing unique, but this was the only vegetarian app on the menu at the time. They did not have anything veg on the main menu, but they were willing to work with me to make some unique. Which was nice of them, for sure. However; when I got my dish it was basic and bland. Just roasted vegetables with no flavor. $26 for a plate of vegetables is a little much.
Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dishes well enough. There was nothing people were "over the moon" about, but no one had a bad experience either. Overall it was decent, but not a great place for a variety of people/preferences. Their menu is too niche that doesn't feed to a large number of people.
