  • I have been a member of several fitness clubs over the years, but I have been very disappointed in this one. I joined on a preopening special four months ahead of time. For $9.95 per month. Somehow they changed that to twice as much without my approval. I received an email to come in and tour the new club and get my membership card. I made an appointment. I went in and no tours were available and I received my card. They said I would be contacted when the club opened. I waited only to find out the club had opened two weeks prior to my drive by. I called up to speak to a manager. No one was available. Left notice. Called back. No manager in that day, but Manager on duty was rude and not apologetic. He could care less. I called HQ in Phoenix to voice my concerns. Took my info and said someone would call. I cancelled my membership. No one called until I rated them on Yelp. Manager Jesse told me he was doing me a favor by calling and why didn't I call him before my poor Yelp review. I explained my experience and he could care less. I was charged $58. They got Yelp to remove my first review. I didn't appreciate that. I am still fighting to get my money back. Bad experience with poor management. Just a rip off.
