  • Came in because of the reviews, and I'm honestly shocked why the rating is so high. The place is extremely outdated, cramped and dirty. I came to get a mani pedi and my eyebrows waxed with an appointment and right away they were so confused. Kept asking me what I was getting, tried to get me to switch around things and tried telling me I can't get a manicure with shellac nails because they can't do it...? Why not? Before going I assumed they would have massage chairs for the pedicures, but I was heavily disappointed to find that while I was getting my nails done, I was told to twist my body so one woman can work on my feet in a little tub she brought over to my station while the other worked on my nails. They laughed and called it efficient. It was uncomfortable and extremely messy. She was so ridiculously rough with my feet that my heel was completely rubbed raw and stung until the next morning with a red rash of bruised skin. I already had decently long nails but wanted fake nails, she was confused why I didn't want to use my real nails but they were clearly uneven and I wanted something long lasting. When it came to deciding on a length, she made me feel pressured into getting a much longer length than I wanted, just because she thought it would've been a waste for her to do them. I wanted something natural and ended up getting a very dramatic length I'm not comfortable for a vacation. The nail clipper she used was absolutely filthy and I could see she wasn't sanitizing anything or using anything brand new. She did a half assed job on my nails, with gaps along my cuticles and shellac stains on my skin. They don't have a wide selection for shellac, and instead of giving me the samples to look for a colour at the beginning while I wait or something, they did it wfter the acrylic was on and my manic was being done so I had to hobble around in a paper shoe with those toe separators and go through all of their empty shellac bottles. When it came to my eyebrows, it was in this disgusting tiny, makeshift room in the corner of the store. They told me to just go in and lie down, without coming to change the paper cover. The paper had an imprint of someone's oily cheek all over the head area that was so gross I had to pull on the paper to get a cleaner spot. And even then I was scared to lay down because of how filthy the area was. Though they are cheap, very friendly, sweet and spoke English more than other nail salons I'm used to, that doesn't make up for their service. I will definitely not be returning.
