  • Five star experience and then some! I wish I could remember the name of the sweet woman who greeted us at check in and also helped us check out. Very personable and friendly. I know she said she used to live in the Bay Area. She gave us a great car that we enjoyed for 4 days. When we checked out, my sister met us to take us to the airport. When we were getting ready to leave, my sisters new VW bug wouldn't start. She had never had that issue before and was a little dumbfounded. We waited and it still wouldn't start. We started to get worried that we wouldn't get to the airport on time. My husband was trying to help my sister troubleshoot the issue and I went inside to use the bathroom. I mentioned to the woman that my sisters car wasn't starting and she said that the tire center that was connected to Avis could help if we needed it. I came out of the bathroom and my sisters car was running! The woman had gone out to help and apparently it was a glitch where the steering wheel locked and it was very common in VW bugs. We were so impressed and thankful that she went out of her way to help us! We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Highly recommend and thank you again!!
