  • Not worth a one star. Pool vacuum was not working well and the first young man who we talked to had know idea about these at all. Waited for the store manager (Dad) to get off a personal call and he was extremely rude. Had to leave the vacuum for just new feet and wings. Brought it home and it worked worse. Upon returning, he abruptly told me that he did not know what was wrong with it without even checking the insides. He was absolutely the rudest person I have ever seen. Took the vacuum to a new store (not a Leslie) and they immediately found that the gears were shot (new ones installed less than a year ago at the same Leslie!!). New store had three very nice and informative people. Did have to buy a new vacuum and very glad that I did not buy one at Leslie's which I am sure that the wonderful man at Leslie's was eventually leading us to. No sale for them and never visiting again. Oh, we bought $75 worth of cleaning supplies at Leslie's and the young man did not charge us for them and only the feet and wing fee!!!.....gee, I guess we should have noticed and taken them back to pay for!!!!!!
