  • I LOVE my hair!!! That is, after I stopped by the drugstore for color and corrected it myself. This is the second or third time this has happened. After a $300 price tag, you would think my color would be right and the cut even. I have been a client of Modern @ Southpark for years and have left them previously because of such inconsistency and ridiculous pricetags for pretty simple talent. Seems I didn't really learn my lesson until now. I am not a perfectionist but twice in a row (two different people--one a senior stylist) send me home looking like a joke. I have good hair. I have a simple shoulder length blunt cut. They just don't know what they're doing--and if you are over 40 and have some gray in spots, they totally don't know what to do. There are so many great salons in Charlotte. If you're going to take a chance on someone, don't pay $300 for it. I have paid MD's less than that for the same amount of time. Seriously.
