So this place is the pits. We arrived to an empty hotel at 1:30, were told that the rooms were ready but we couldn't check in. When we asked why, the response from the surly girl at the desk was that's the policy. When I asked for a manager, none was called. The. We were told it would be an additional charge to check in early. Normally, I'm a fan of supporting non-chain business but the treatment we received at 1:30 and then later at 3:40 when we were allowed to actually check in makes me pine for the service of a Marriott or SPG property. Neither of the girls at the front desk seem to know who they work for either, which is also concerning.
