  • I have to admit I was disappointed. First, if you've read any other reviews, you know the ordering process is difficult bordering on ridiculous. It's kind of like dog years...for every one minute you may wait to order at a normal pizza place, you will wait seven minutes at Spak Brothers. Alas, the ordering Gods smiled upon me and I only had to wait 8 minutes to place my order (on my third try). I went with a medium pizza- half pepperoni, half sausage- and the seitan wings with the honey mustard sauce. The honey mustard sauce had a little kick to it, which I wasn't expecting, but rather enjoyed. The seitan though...It was so chewy! Why? Why is it so chewy??? It was like eating a bike tire bathed in a delicious sauce. Everyone raves about these things...I've had better seitan from Whole Foods! I feel like I have to try it again just to see if it's always like that, or if it was just a bad batch. The pizza was decent; the BF and I both liked the sauce. Other than that, there was nothing so amazing about it that I would go out of my way to get it. We plan to try it once more, but I am not holding my breath that the Brothers will redeem themselves.
