I fly in and out of Phoenix about once or twice a week now. This airport is known as "the friendliest airport". Quite honestly, I've never had a bad experience from something the staff did or could have stopped. Their TSA works effeciently. They have 4 locations for general boarding. They have monitors on the 2nd floor in the food court that how long the estimated time to get through each location is. There have been several days that they have staff located on the 2nd floor to walk around and look for people who look confused and they approach you and offer help. That's nice. There are a variety of good restaurants and shopping areas on each corridor. Terminal 4 does have 4 high table areas for charging your phones, tablets, and laptops, and some space to work on your laptop. They also have a small play area for the kids at the dead end.
