  • My legs grew wary as I stood on the long line at the Buffet, pangs of hunger hitting me here and there. It was a Wednesday night at 7:30 PM. An hour later, my prayers to the food gods were answered and we were finally seated. We were a party of 3 and paid $34.99 each. Feel like getting drunk? Get the bottomless drinks for $12.99 each. The place itself was clean and service was efficient after being seated. I wasted no time. I swiftly ran to the bathroom to wash my hands and went straight to the first station I saw: Asian. The first plate I got was cashew chicken with fried rice and some Italian chicken along with beef and broccoli. The cashew chicken and beef and broccoli and fried rice were pretty decent but the Italian chicken tasted too much like wine so I didn't finish it. The cashew chicken was too nutty for my taste. My second plate was crab legs and sushi. The sushi wasn't any greater than other sushi I have tasted (it was spicy salmon) and the snow crab legs were good too. I don't really know how to open crab legs so I probably would've had a better experience if I knew how to open them, haha. My third plate was spaghetti with marinara and alfredo sauce, shrimp, onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms. I actually finished all of this but it wasn't the best pasta I have had (check out Carmine's in NYC). My fourth plate was actually dessert because I was waiting for my beef ribs to cook. So instead of just waiting and wasting time, I decided to continue eating. My favorite dessert was the flan; it was absolutely phenomenal. The tiramisu cake sucked so I didn't finish it (way too much espresso). The cheesecake was alright. The cupcakes, yogurt, macaron, and brownie on the stick was ok too. I got chocolate gelato as well...it was meh. My fifth plate was finally my beef ribs, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes. This was probably my best plate. The mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were delicious. However, the beef ribs could have been cooked more and had more flavor. Besides all of the stuff I ate, they had a salad bar, pizza, an Indian station, etc. After consuming all this food, I could not get up and entered into food coma. It took me 2-3 hours to recover. Overall, I think buffets value quantity over quality but this was one of the better buffets I have been to. However, the food was not particularly phenomenal and didn't get my taste buds dancing. If you're really hungry and what OK food, check it out. I didn't get to check out the Bacchanal Buffet but I know it is also more expensive at $50. This gets 3 stars because the food wasn't that great and the line was too long, but it was a fair price. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but the memory of this bland food will stay with me forever.
