Really enjoy bodhi tree and it is my local studio. Well placed (10-15 minute walk from the Sunnyside train), clean studio, helpful staff. Not too small of a women's change room, but definitely could be bigger when it is busy.
I generally only attend their hot foundation classes and love their karma classes (pay by donation). I usually find the teachers great, but there are a couple there that really annoy me and either do moves that are far too hard with no modifications (like a head stand for 15 minutes and all the people who can't do this can place their hands on the wall and watch --I'm looking at you Lisa!), or don't plan out their classes very well.
If you don't like teachers that wax rhapsodic about your inner spirit animal, or the beauty in a whispering blade of grass brushing against your cheek, you will probably be aggravated in these classes.
However, if you do like going to yoga to do some strength work mixed with meditation and reflection, you will like bodhi tree.
