Based on a recommendation from a coworker I was in the mood for something new and original yet tasty and fresh. Located in an innocuous spot 10 minutes from the strip in an older rundown area inside you'll find a cleanly decorated Venezuelan cafe. The decor is simple, lined with pictures that will impress you with the number of dishes you couldn't name. But in my opinion that's what makes it so exciting. Arepas is their signature food, "arepas" being a corn based flour that offers a huge variety of combinations of cheese and meats. Reina Pepiada is a mouthwatering blend of chicken and avocado and the corn based bread is such a great consistency and taste not overpowering and it's as soft as cornbread. They had freshly squeezed no sugar added juice as well as a desert of hot guava with cheese in a fried shell. For dessert right next door is a just as unique and tasty ice cream store with fresh and fun flavors using goat cheese and churros! All in all a great date spot that'll show how cultured and adventurous you are :)
