UPDATE: I wish I could give half stars because this salon is a 3.5 for me.
I went back with a friend today. We each got a pedicure and she got a gel manicure.
Pros:
-My tech (male, named Luyen) gave me an INCREDIBLE foot and leg massage.
-He took his time cleaning my cuticles; my feet look and feel great.
-Gave me a bottle of water straightaway.
-Awesome massage chairs
-Gorgeous salon with well-organized variety of polish and product
-Very reasonably priced (got a cash discount too!)
Cons:
-Tech skipped my hot stone massage (supposed to be included with all pedicures- and it's my fave part, so boo)
-Language barriers: neither my tech or my friends spoke much English
-My friend said her pedicure was meh (even though she got her hot stones)
-Friend asked nail tech twice not to use the file on her nail beds and she kept doing it anyway
-Uncomfortable, awkward sort-of vibe; hard to explain but my friend felt it too.
My friend says she won't go back but I may give them another try after they've had a few more months open to find their groove.
But for right now, it's a 3.5 and I'm going to stick with my regular place, even though it's further away.
