  • I've been ordering birthday cakes for my family for years! Specifically, the chocolate craline (a crunchy bottomed delicious cake). On my last purchase, I ordered that, a tiramisu and a Napoleon cake (I had 3 birthdays at once), on March 26. I met the new owner, who came out to help me to the car, and explained to me that the order was late because he just took over from the previous owners, he changed the recipes and now they were much better, etc. Bottom line is the craline cake has NO MORE crunchy bottom, which was amazing, and the chocolate glaze is gone too. The Tiramisu is much better at Costco and the Napoleon was the best one of the 3. With deep regret, I have to say I lost my favorite bakery in town, I'll have to find another one, after 10 years. Sorry, new owner, you need to go back to the old recipes!
