I read the other reviews and I think the people writing the reviews know very little about automobiles. It is true catalytic converters can be purchased less expensively. However I'm sure Christian brothers were going to install the official converters for those cars. I replaced my own catalytic converters and one developed a crack. I took it to Christian Brothers because I could not pinpoint the noise in the system. They found the crack and did not charge anything for the diagnosis. They said they could replace it but the converter would cost $1000 and he advised me to purchase the converter elsewhere. I am sure Toyota charges $1000 for a catalytic converter. So I don't think Christian Brothers is taking advantage of people. While out of town my wife told me the noise was very bad. I had her take it to Christian brothers and have them put the new converter that I purchased for $450 from Oreilys. They took my wife home so that she didn't have to sit at the shop for hours. My wife was concerned that they wouldn't finish in time to pick up our son from school. They expedited the job so that she was able to do that. They did a fantastic job. They have also helped a single mom friend of ours when she was having problems with her car. So please consider using these guys for your auto needs. I know cars fairly well and I have never had a problem with them.
