Today 7/14/2017 I'm editing and making it five stars.
Yes. the customer service was bad, but I'm willing to go back for the food.
The truth is that it is amazing they take the time to make something that is traditional and time-consuming. True ramen is not the crunchy stuff in the plastic rapper and the real thing is found in only a few places in the valley.
I have made TONKATSU ramen and the egg based ramen noodles from scratch myself many times. I have also gone out of my way to try ramen from any place I could find it.
I went back to Cherryblossom again and again because I think their ramen is the only one which tastes authentic and is priced very well for the large bowl you recieve. I even told them my family member needed gluten free and the accommodated us by using their tasty broth with flat rice noodles as a substitute. I tasted mine and the one done with rice noodles and they were both great!
Unfortunately I have not been back in a few years because of the unfortunate incidents listed below in my original review but I am ready to go and give it another try!

The RAMEN is excellent. The owners are sweet and the ambiance is pleasant.
I gave it a low rating for the customer service. My first visit I was seated in the back and had to wait for service a lot, for long periods of time. I didn't mind due to the gracious hospitality. (ADDED NOTE: THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT CONSIDERING I TOOK MY WHOLE FAMILY WHICH MADE US A PARTY OF SEVEN. WE ORDERED LIKE 4 SOUPS AND 1 SUSHI PLATE WHICH FILLED EVERYONE UP. WE ALL LEFT HAPPY AND OUR SERVER WAS NICE. SHE EVEN HAD A HELPER WITH HER.)
My second visit, was terrible. They saw me walk in and didn't offer me a menu or greet me. A second customer walked in after me and they helped that person first, instead of me.
Finally someone asked if I had a question. I said no, I'm waiting for a menu. He turned to the hostess and said "oh, why did you tell me she had a question?" and then he just walked away leaving me to wait longer.
(ONE ADDED NOTE: I had applied for a job some time before so maybe the woman thought I had just come in to check on the job but this does NOT explain why things did not improve once I told them I was actually there as a customer. NO THEY WERE NOT BUSY)
When I finally got a waiter, I already knew what I wanted, I didn't waste the waiters time. I waited a LONG (TIME) for my food until I ran out of time to eat it. THE WAITER DIDN'T CHECK ON ME AGAIN UNTIL I STOOD UP TO LEAVE. He had the nerve to ask if I needed anything. I told him I ran out of time to eat and had to leave. He didn't apologize, he just put the check on the table and left again.
I do not know if this is a place where you have to wait for them to come grab the check or if you are supposed to take it up to the hostess but he never came back so I took it up to the hostess. She just stood there, IN FRONT OF ME, drying wet cups.
I was just there for a lunch break soup. Why did it take an hour?
(ADDED NOTE: I HAVE GONE BACK 1 TIME FOR TAKE OUT AND SOMEONE PICKED UP RAMEN FOR ME 1 TIME AS TAKE OUT BEFORE I STOPPED GOING FOR GOOD.)
