This was the most horrible place I have ever been and I am so sad they are in my neighborhood. I have heard of dentists like this but I really never thought that it was true. I made an appointment based on their location and the fact that my previous dentist had retired. I have great teeth. I am 35 years old and I have never had a cavity, pain or chip in my life. My previous dentist called my teeth beauty queen teeth and said if I took care of them like I have then I would have them forever with no issues. They took tons of x-rays of my teeth, which was uncomfortable but fine. Then they put me in a room with their hygienist who proceeded to tell me that I had periodontal disease and she needed to do a major gum deep cleaning. I politely declined and she looked at me like I was insane. They then had the dentist come in and tell me that I needed this gum cleaning also or I was doing long term damage to myself. I told him that my previous dentist said I was fine and he told me there had been new advances in dentistry. I heard about this "deep gum cleaning" fallacy 15 years ago but I didn't think that these places actually existed. When I declined again they sent in the office manager with a $700 quote for the work they wanted to do and to make sure I wanted to make the decision against it. I asked them several times to just give me the cleaning that my insurance will pay for and declined several times to have this deep gum cleaning done. In tears and almost 2 hours later they finally "polished" my teeth and told me that they would not do that again until I had the $700 worth of work done. Who are these people and how can they practice dentistry? Do not go here. There is nothing ethical going on at this place and you will leave feeling like you had to deal with a bunch of car salesmen.
