  • Sone fixed a problem on my car on extremely short notice. I was in the process of moving homes from California to Texas driving with a van packed to the ceiling with belongings. By a once-in-a-lifetime chance, I stopped across the street from this auto shop to spend the night. I called Honda dealerships and mechanics to ask about the gasoline smell, all of which had a full schedule and I would have to wait all day. We called the shop and they told me to just come in. Sone has 25 years of experience working as a Honda Dealership mechanic technician and immediately recognized the problem: the cracked fuel pump recall on Honda Odysseys 2005-2010. FYI if you smell gasoline fumes in your car, take it to get fixed asap because your car has increased fire risk. I personally wasn't going to risk a car fire with all of my belongings in the car driving through Arizona in the middle of a hot July. Realistically Sone didn't need my business since he had a lot of high end cars to work on, but he genuinely cared for my safety and put me at the top of the queue and worked on getting me back on the road immediately. I remember him quoting me that he could get it done by 1:00PM, but he actually got it in by 10:30AM!! We moved a lot of stuff out of the car to get to the fuel pump. I felt bad because he already moved a lot of the heavy stuff out before I got out to help him and his other mechanics. From talking to Sone and watching him work, you can tell he's the type of person that would go the extra mile and another mile on top of that to help you out. I would recommend women who have no knowledge of cars to have their vehicle serviced here, because he does honest business and didn't sell me on anything the car didn't need. I would say he treats his customers like family rather than regular clients.
