| - When travelling I always try to stay at Residence Inn's by Marriott, mostly because the convenience of having a full kitchen, dining table and breakfast included (standard on this brand) so on my first trip to Vegas there was no doubt we wanted to stay here.
GOOD: Close enough to strip to get to casinos, nightlife, restaurants, mall, etc (5 minutes drive) but far away enough to stay away from the noise and be able to rest after a day out. There is a starbucks, chipotle, fogo do chao and some other restaurants really close and at walkable distance from hotel. Rooms are spacious enough and decently maintained. Fair amount of parking spaces. The cleaning staff was friendly at all times. Location is perfect and no silly resort fees!
BAD: When we checked in, we were told that during our stay there was full occupancy and they only had a queen bed but that was fine (at first). Once we got to our room the "Queen" size bed was more like "full size" and we barely had space for both us to sleep. As the hotel was fully booked they could not accommodate to another room. Breakfast time was a nightmare, we went for 5 days as early as we could and seemed that they were short on food, plates, etc. You might think that if you know that you have full occupancy you would be prepared to fulfill all the guests.
Overall, stay was ok, but definitely they need to plan better the amount of food and supplies for breakfast time.
