I had a great day traveling to the south rim of the Grand Canyon with my tour group! My tour guide, Tracey, was very knowledgeable and engaged with the group. I loved his attitude and enthusiasm throughout the entire tour! I definitely do not have that type of energy for an entire day.. Especially since he was our driver, tour guide and photographer.
My bf and I were the first ones to get picked up (730am) so we easily had first choice on where to sit (front row seats are probably more convenient). Although the van was small (fits 15 people/4 rows + driver and passenger seat), there were about two people per row so it did not feel as cramped as I imagined. The ride to the grand canyon took a few hours but we had several pit stops. The first being McDonald's for breakfast. You can order whatever you like and it is covered. Next, we stopped at Hoover Dam and Tracey was gracious enough to help take all our pictures. We passed by route 66 souvenir shops and finally we arrived at grand canyon around 3pm where we ate our lunch. We started our actual tour at the south rim at 4pm and stayed there until 650pm which was when the sun sets. Again, Tracey helped us find the best spots to take pictures and even advised us how to pose to make sure we look good in our photographs! I returned from the trip with amazing pictures to share with my friends and family! We returned to Vegas by midnight.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience with Grand Adventures. Everything from the booking process to getting picked up to the tour itself. I did not have any issues as everything was advertised accurately. It was a plus that we had a nice friendly tour group and an awesome tour guide!
