  • For someone that is suppose to be a professional, extremely rude and arrogant. One of the worst service I've had with the staff and the Dr. himself. The assissant is a LIAR who decided to lie straight up to my face and Dr. Lim, and then Dr. Lim, SCREAMS at me. Jesus Christ this place needs help. Dr. Lim bragged about how his prices were lower than specialists(oral surgeons) but his prices came about the same if not more than some oral surgeons. I read the other negative review beforehand and thought "oh you know, might just be some yelper over exaggerating" NOPE. Anyways I walk in here for my panorex, okay, that's all I scheduled. The assistant comes, I go in, and the assistant goes "let's take the xray, then Dr. Lim will be with you shortly" so I tell her I don't have money to do the consultation and she goes "that's okay." I take it then she tells me to wait, so I'm slightly confused, but whatever, so I wait about 5-10 minutes.Dr. Lim comes in, talks about himself and how good he is for 3 minutes, repeating how good he is, then tells me the quote for the wisdom removal. There's no special complications or anything, price comes to over $425 a tooth. I told him I'll think about it, and then he goes okay, for today then the price will be $40 for x-ray(by the way Central Toronto Community Health Centre Dental Services charges much less), and then $50 for consultation, so I explain to him I already told the assistant beforehand that I wasn't able to pay it, he calls the assistant in, and she straight up lies. I refused to pay the consultation fee, since I already told them I couldn't afford it beforehand and honestly I told them I only wanted the panorex, dental assistant lied right to my face and said that I agreed to come back and pay next visit, like are you joking me? I haven't even decided if I wanted to come back so why would I have even agreed to that? I also only booked a panorex. Anyways for 5 more minutes he continued to tell me that he's been a dentist for 36 years 6 more times, and that is it fair for him to give his time for free(his consultation was a goddamn 3 minute sales pitch). I started going how is it fair to charge me for something I disclosed I wasn't going pay for, and didn't ask for, then he screamed at me when I still refused, told me to pay the panoramic and that he never wants to see my face again, as if he had to tell me that for me to not want to go back. Then he yells "Oh my god" out loudly while I'm paying and he walks back. Never seen someone so unprofessional in my life, is he that mad he didn't get $50 for him to talk about himself for 3 minutes? Most dentists I know would have just waived the fee due to their error. Why yell at me for your incompetent lying staff.
