  • I just left the Tropicana, I'm not really seeing a "resort" but it was a nice experiences. Staff is really friendly. Vallet/Bell service was prompt, the guys were very friendly. I didn't know the Tropicana is connected to Hilton Honors until I walked in. Over all, I thought the room was relaxing, clean and comfortable. I don't typically stay on the strip because of the congestion but for someone who's caught up in the tourist experience, this location would be great because it's walking distance to the strip activities. I wasn't impressed with the restaurants, there were long lines so I ordered room service, it took 1 hour 15 minutes before my food arrived, I ordered the only steak on the menu, it was so tuff I couldn't chew it. Next night, I had a burger, it was very good. Be careful with the resort fee! Very pricey for a place that is only a hotel, not a resort. Slots were fairly generous and loose.
