  • I had tried Umami's dumplings and buns at the Willy St fair this summer and they were awesome so I was excited to finally check out the restaurant and try the ramen. I am not a ramen aficionado, but, I really enjoyed what I had at Umami. I ordered their special and unfortunately I don't remember the name but I believe it had a pork (and maybe chicken?) broth base with pork belly, the noodles obviously, some veggies, nori and an egg. The portion was HUGE and I ended up taking about half home with me and it was delicious the next day for lunch. Had I known how much they give you we may have skipped the chicken and mushroom dumplings for an appetizer...but then again, maybe not, as they were delicious!
