rev:text	I wanted to try a class over the weekend and went with a friend. The class was great, very faced paced and enjoyable. I was a little taken back when it was time to pay and was given the choice to pay $100 for unlimited classes for a month, or $25 for that day's class. I have been to all kinds of fitness classes (boxing, pilates, orange theory, crossfit, truhit and other fitness facilities-- and have never have been asked to pay for the 1st class). My friend had a door flyer coupon that she brought in for $35 for unlimited 2 weeks, we didn't realize it had expired, but was hoping to talk to a manager b/c we wanted to try other classes with other instructors before signing up for the month. The front desk girl called a manager and my friend spoke to her and she would not honor the coupon for us. After my friend spoke to her, she passed the phone back to the front desk person who was laughing on the phone with the manager. Very unprofessional. So instead of making $70 that day and perhaps getting two new, happy members. They made $50 and got two disgruntled, once potential members who won't be back. With so many other competing barre classes in the Valley to choose from, there is no reason to not find someplace else to practice where you are treated with more respect. The owner (not manager) did call my friend hours later and said she would alas honor the coupon, however we had already left with a negative experience. I am a little surprised the owner did not offer to refund the money to try out the class due to the bad experience we received from her staff, as a business owner myself, that would have been what I would have done.
