  • I know the previous reviews were very positive, but I was actually very disappointed with my experience. I also got the Groupon, which read "One custom facial with microdermabrasion." According to Shagoofa's website (the aesthetician), www.shagaskincare.com, a custom facial is a 1 hour service. Given this, I was expecting that a custom facial with microderm added would be at least an hour, but I was only there for 45 mins. She didn't ask me anything about my skincare concerns or goals. She didn't walk me through what was going on, and I didn't feel that the service was catered to me or my skin at all. Also, in all the previous facials I have had, I have received a massage while the mask set in. With this, she gave me a short massage and then just sat in her chair behind me for the remainder of the time, which was VERY awkward and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this service to a friend, and felt that the Groupon was NOT a good deal given the time and level of service received.
