| - What can I say, this place is great. The rooms are huge, the bed comfortable, and they have small decks. It's basically a small apartment.
The staff are very friendly, and a resort fee includes tips, so no need to constantly keep cash on hand.
I booked a last minute round of golf and they were very accommodating, keeping the course open a little longer so I could finish my round.
I read some comments about the food, so was a little weary, but in general the food was great. We ate at the spotted donkey a few times and everything was fresh and well prepared. The restaurant in the main lodge was good too. Every day they prepare a special burger, and we stuck to those and again, great stuff.
We stayed in the off-season (it was 115F out) so the room was cheap, but food was pricey, which I expect at a Waldorf.
