rev:text	EXCELLENT and DELICIOUS FOOD, a FRIENDLY and INVITING STAFF, and IMMACULATE RESTROOMS! This Greek bistro in Henderson is a winner on so many levels. I'm fairly picky about Greek food and haven't been too satisfied with the choices of Greek-themed restaurants in Las Vegas, but The Great Greek in Henderson has won me over. I ordered the Gyro plate, which was stuffed with ample meat and other fresh ingredients. One another occasion I also tried the Avgolemono Soup (a traditional Greek chicken and lemon soup). When I first tried this soup some 25 years ago, I fell in love with it. I could tell that The Great Greek prepares this soup daily, as you can see and taste the fresh dill, roasted chicken and pasta in every spoonful. I also highly recommend the Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves with rice and fresh herbs). Squeeze a little fresh lemon on them for a tasty treat. The Spanakopita is also delicious, made with spinach and feta cheese inside a light and flaky puff pastry. What I like most about The Great Greek is the staff. They remembered me each time I visited, they knew what I wanted and prepared my meals quickly, and they engaged in a friendly banter that made me feel right at home. The Great Greek's menu is designed for customers to return again and again to try new dishes. I've been there three times in one week! Finally, dining at The Great Greek won't break your bank, unlike many other Greek-themed restaurants. Just about every meal can be purchased for under $10. Now THAT'S a bargain! OPA!
