  • The CNE is huge: so much variety and very well organized and well laid out. A lot of the rides and games are very similar but this means no queues and lots of competition, adding to the atmosphere. I haven't tried the rides, but it looked like there was lots of variety for adults and kids alike! The exhibition halls are fantastic: the sand sculptures were a highlight, and The Farm is great with animals and educational displays. Despite going over Labour Day weekend - supposedly the busiest time - no queues were overwhelming and it wasn't too crowded. The 6pm Mardi Gras was a lovely surprise as we hadn't seen it on the timetable: it's small, but the floats are fun and the beads are a nice souvenir from the day. We went during the day but will be back at night on the final day tomorrow.
