  • UPDATE: I just learned from the Apple Store in Scottsdale that the battery "MAY HAVE BEEN TAMPERED WITH." When Apple opened the phone, they found that the battery was loose, and was not secure. He said it was an Apple battery but probably not the original one. I never asked Digital Doc to replace the battery. This is looking more and more looking like a SCAM. I bought the phone in for glass replacement, and it appears that they also replaced my battery with a defective one. When I picked up the phone, they told me that I needed a new battery. There had been nothing wrong with it before I brought it to them. The phone was purchased new May 2017, just three months earlier. The Apple guy said that the battery should have been taped down securely. So it appears that Digital Doc stole my battery, replaced it with a defected one, and then tried to sell me a replacement. That is what I call a SCAM. Thanks, Richard. ORIGINAL REVIEW: DIGITAL DOC says they have to replace my screen with a crack one if I want my money back! We tried to get my son's iPhone fixed, and after every time we brought it in, something else went wrong. The last time, after I picked it up for having the screen replaced, the battery was so damaged it could not hold a charge for more than 20 minutes. On top of that, the phone no longer would connect to the network. I called my provider, reset all settings, and even tried the phone with a different sims card, and nothing worked. It would not connect to the network. Understanding that it could be a problem out of everyone's control, I asked for a refund of the $64.76 I paid for the last repair and said no hard feelings. Instead, I was told that they would only refund my money if I allowed them to remove the screen and replaced it with a cracked one. Nuts. There was no problem with the battery or connecting to the network when I brought it in, only after I picked it up. They refused to refund me $64 unless I let them put a cracked screen on the phone. I hate to get personal but the man with a bald head and beard talks a lot, and most of what he says is not clear, and it always ends up costing more $$$. RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT: I was never offered any services for free. There was no problem with the network connection when I brought it to you, and the battery for only three (3) months old.
